Message Notification Service

Deliver messages to multiple endpoints or clients

What is Message Notification Service?

Message Notification Service (MNS)

Message Notification Service (MNS) enables you to efficiently send messages to email addresses, phone numbers, and HTTP/HTTPS URLs and connect applications through notifications, reducing system complexity.

Message Notification Service is a hosted simple, flexible and massive message notification service. In this way,you can send messages to emails, phones, HTTP(S) applications in an efficient and inexpensive way. You can send messages to a group of clients in batches.

HTTP/HTTPS messages: ¥0.60 JPY/million

API calls: ¥0.50 JPY/million

Efficiently sends messages with three easy-to-use APIs for topic creation, subscription, and message publishing.

Stable and Reliable

Saves messages in multiple data centers to achieve high availability. If a message delivery fails, the failed message will be cached and delivered again.

Enables you to deliver messages to subscribers using various protocols with only one messaging request.

Isolates data by topic. Unauthorized users cannot access your message queues, ensuring service security.

  • Simple:
In most cases, you can get started with MNS by calling the topic creating, topic subscription, and message publishing APIs. Additional APIs are available, which provide more advanced functions.
  • Flexible:
MNS allows applications to send notifications via Email, SMS, HTTP, or HTTPS.
  • Massive:
Application can publish unlimited number of messages at any time.
  • Reliable:
To avoid the loss of messages, MNS provides multi-node and multi-copy messages redundancy.
  • Secure:
MNS provides access control mechanisms to ensure that TOPIC s and messages are secured against unauthorized access. TOPIC owners can set policies for a TOPIC that restrict who can publish or subscribe to a TOPIC.
  • Email and SMS Message Pushing
Push email and text message. You can push e-mail and SMS messages to the Topic, and you can push SMS messages to individuals. For example, you can push application registration code to individuals using SMN. Also, news or product information can be pushed to groups by email.
  • Application Notificacion and Alarming
Notifications or alarms, triggered by applications or cloud services, are sent to the specific program or user via SMS, email, or HTTP(S). For example, the application sends the metrics information to CES, thereby triggering the alarm notification. Then the alarm notification is sent to the user via SMS or email.
  • Copy Distribution Function
Messages are sent to SMN and then copied to multiple channels by SMN service for concurrent processing. For example, the business system makes multiple service data copies, one for normal service processing, and the others for real-time big data analysis and processing.
  • MNS uses messages to connect other cloud services, achieving system decoupling and ensuring reliability.
If one service becomes faulty, messages sent to other services will not be adversely affected.
  • Automatic
Connects cloud services and automatically invokes their functions through messages.
  • Simple and Highly Efficient
Greatly reduces system complexity and improves service efficiency.
  • If there is a discrepancy between processing capabilities of the upstream and downstream systems, MNS can cache data to reduce downstream pressure.
  • Highly Reliable
Reduces breakdowns, enhances availability, and mitigates complexity in the system.
  • Optimized Message Processing
Greatly enhances system capabilities to process messages during peak hours.
  • Topic Subscription
Provides topic management, subscription, and message publishing so that you can send messages using multiple protocols.
  • Email Notification
Reliably delivers email messages to users subscribed to topics.
  • Message Template
Enables you to customize message templates, eliminating repeated message editing and improving message sending efficiency.
